The BMW Cup Series will encourage and reward racers on BMW motorcycles to compete in as many events as possible. We want to encourage participation and brand awareness from BMW riders and spectators. The BMW racers in the vintage series (500cc, 750cc and open classic) will be eligible for prizes from first through fifth place. First place will be the highest finishing BMW of the three classes. Second through fifth place prizes will be awarded on the same criteria as first place. If a tie occurs between classes, Olympic scoring for the two heats will decide the winner. If this does not resolve the matter, then the oldest rider will win the decision.
The results of the races will be published and mailed to all Northwest dealers for posting in their display areas. Magazines and periodicals will be notified of the results as well. The support and enthusiasm generated by BMW supporters will bring out and cheer on the BMW racers. The prizes for each race and the participating dealers are listed below.
