This harness was meant to be a replacement for the factory harness, but since the time we first thought about making harnesses we have developed other products for our, hopefully available soon, kit bikes. This harness has turned into a very specialized harness that will work for frame up restorations as long as the restorer agrees with our placement of some of the electrical components and wants to convert to negative ground. We have had to convert to negative ground for modern components like electronic tachometers and speedometers to work. We do have the wire and fasteners in stock and should be building our first harness by the end of May 2008.

This product may never be produced unless we find a cost effective way of manufacturing them. We are leaving it on this page because there is a small chance we will make them. The first picture shows the aluminum mount designed to be lighter, simpler, stronger and much more elegant than the stock arrangement shown in the second picture. You will notice that the rubber mounts are not horizontal as in the stock arrangement, but more vertical, which eliminates a lot of the shear force on the rubbers.
